When things get tough, I reach for these sweet divas, and I'm laughing in minutes. I picked up my first copy at a used book store and fell in love. Perfect, irreverent, diverting humor for any real woman. Since my first purchase, I have bought and given away 2 other copies, one to a friend undergoing a double mastectomy, and one to a friend who broke her back. I'm a sweet potato queen wannabe. This book turned out to be the perfect remedy for some of my life's worst moments.
A definite waste of my $6. As I read this book, I wondered "why would i take advice from this woman.".and that is the same thought on which I ended the book. It was distasteful, laced with cuss words, and not even well written.
I do think Amazon could have clarified this product. I completely misunderstood that this was not the actual book in miniature form. VERY Disappointed.
Ann - It is a funny, irreverent book which will make you laugh out loud. I enjoyed this book so much, I purchased one for our daughter (married, 45 years old) when she was recuperating from surgery. - She said she had to be careful not to laugh too hard as it hurt her stitches.
Sorry to be dense, but I think the description should have been a bit more detailed. I thought this was a used copy but when I received the book it was a tiny little minature,not the normal sized paperback. Although this book is great, why would Amazon sell a book that is only 3 inches by 3 inches. I have bought this book before and loved it but had given it away and was in the market to get a new copy.
